Archery Experience

Ready to swap your screen time for some target practice? Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, Archery Experience is bringing a fun, friendly and hands-on way to discover the sport to Brisbane.

With sessions in Redcliffe and Sumner Park, Archery Experience welcomes families, friends, social groups, community groups and corporate teams, with participants aged 12 and over.

Founded by coaches Emma Crouch and Michael Schilling, Archery Experience was created to share their passion for the sport while helping more people discover just how rewarding archery can be.

And you don’t need to be an expert to get started. The 2.5-hour Try Archery session is designed for absolute beginners, taking you through everything from safety and equipment to the key steps involved in shooting a bow. You’ll have plenty of time to practise your technique, build confidence and, of course, take aim at the target.

Expect plenty of fun along the way, with games helping to keep things light-hearted while you get the hang of your new skills. And that moment when you finally let an arrow fly and hit the target? That’s where the real satisfaction kicks in.

For those who want to keep practising, ongoing casual archery sessions are also available, with equipment hire included and plenty of opportunities to continue developing your technique.

Whether you’re looking for a unique group activity, a fun family experience or simply want to try something completely different, Archery Experience makes picking up a bow for the first time feel approachable, encouraging and most importantly, fun!
