Demeio Park
Marsden
Demeio Park, a popular green space with playground in Marsden, has been upgraded to include a brand new Transurban Cycle Park.
This exciting addition to the leafy neighbourhood park features 220 metres of pathway and includes intersections, road signs, a roundabout and a pedestrian crossing.
Highlights of the Transurban Cycle Park are miniature versions of the iconic red bridge across the Logan River at Beenleigh and a scaled-down Gateway Bridge.
Demeio Park provides plenty of play options with a 9.4 metre tall play structure that features a climbing tower, mega tunnel slide, birds nest swings and a flying fox. For older children and teens, there's a basketball court plus plenty of open green space, perfect for kicking a ball around.
Set on the banks of Scrubby Creek, this popular park is ideal for a family picnic with shelters provided along with electric barbecues and toilet facilities.
Nice to know - Demeio Park connects to Berrinba Wetlands.
