The Corner is State Library of Queensland's unique sunken space where parents and children aged 8 and under can engage with themed creative activity or imaginative play..

The Corner SLQ

The Corner offers three bookable sessions daily, full of stories, songs and awesome resources to inspire play or you can simply drop in at any time during the opening hours to explore the browsing collection of books.

The Corner SLQ

There are four different sessions at set times each day: Play Time (open-ended play sessions for children of all ages, with specifically selected resources) Rhyme Time (for babes in arms through to tots ready to dance), Story Time (a fun selection of stories) or Baby Play in the Corner.(for babies 0-12 months who are not walking yet). Bookings are required.

Need to know - State Library has worked with Queensland Health to develop a specific COVID-safe site plan. Bookings are essential to attend children and families activities.
