Stones Corner

Stones Throw, in the heart of Stones Corner, is a funky café with a cool vibe serving single origins alongside a top-notch house blend with an inspired menu.

Formerly known as Belaroma, the café has changed names and expanded to include a cosy nook at the rear of the shop. Brisbane-based Belaroma coffee is still on pour including an excellent house blend and rotating single origins.

Breakfast fare features favourites with a twist like their Breakfast Burger with fried egg, grilled bacon, mac n cheese pattie, sriracha sauce and red cheddar on a Japanese milk bun, or beetroot and mint pancakes served with house made whipped cream, crumbled charcoal shortbread and blueberry coulis.

There’s pan fried omelettes, chimichanga burritos and the popular Stones Throw Classic - scrambled eggs, baby spinach, Persian feta, avocado and tomato relish on sourdough rye toast.

Lunch options range from Mexican salad (fried beef mince, pickled jalapenos, capsicum salsa, onion, rosemary yogurt and two fried eggs) and chicken mango salad (grilled chicken marinated in lime and coconut with fresh mango, Asian  slaw and sweet chili sauce) to hazelnut crumbed chicken burger with grilled chorizo, fresh capsicum, mustard and red cheddar on a milk bun.

The café is kid friendly with a children’s menu consisting of scrambled eggs on toast, ham and cheese omelettes and loaded fries topped with bacon, cheese, chives and Greek style yoghurt.

Besides coffee, there are SereniTea loose leaf teas, red velvet hot chocolate, chai latte, turmeric latte, coffee milkshake, iced chocolate and smoothies like Banana Deluxe, Coconut, Mango and Passionfruit, and Jumping Monkey - fresh espresso, banana, cacao coconut oil, peanut butter, milk and honey.
