Woolloongabba

D.Vino Bistro & Enoteca is a hidden treasure of a classy, intimate European restaurant and bar, found tucked away in an old warehouse in an industrial side street of Woolloongabba.

Customers can take a seat out front or inside at the bar and enjoy a glass of wine, cocktail and bar snack or settle in at one of the dining tables for a sublime dinner.

The stunning cosy interior features high ceilings, black brick walls, golden table lamps on Modernist dining tables and leather chairs and a wine wall at the rear, while leather bound menus, bespoke tableware and linen napiery add to the elegant touches.

The exquisite menu derives its flavours and influence from Italian and French cuisine, with a focus on seafood and a mix of tapas-style share plates and a la carte options.

D.Vino Woolloongabba

Start with delicious appetizers like home made French baguette, truffle butter & carrot butter or toasted Ciabatta, fermented tomato, chili, fried capers & Cantabrian white anchovy, followed by tapas-style entrees such as chargrilled calamaro, saffron rouille, nduja cream, pickled celery & sago wafer; or Hokkaido scallops carpaccio, snow pea tendril puree, finger lime & citrus citronette

Mains include heavenly Prawns & ricotta agnolotti and lobster bisque monte with cultured butter & lemon zest; Roasted eggplant, pistachio crumb & gorgonzola foam served with risoni; or Market fish, sauteed cannellini, confit cherry tomato, red vein sorrel & salsa verde.

And for dessert there's a choice of Coffee Semifreddo, with zabaione foam & amaretti crumble; .White chocolate pannacotta, parsnip, oat tuile, fresh figs & burnt apple toffee sauce; Affogato (Innisfail Vanilla Ice Cream, espresso & macadamia/chocolate biscuit) or a Cheeseboard (with one, two or three cheeses).

D.Vino Woolloongabba

The expertly curated wine list offers a staggering selection of mostly Italian (from all the wine-growing regions of Italy) and French wines, by the bottle or glass, as well as an impressive list of international wines. Otherwise there's Amaro, Grappa, a handful of Sicilian and Sardinian beers and Italian cocktails (Negroni, Bellini and Mediterraneo).
