King Lears Throne

Fortitude Valley

King Lears Throne is a dimlit little dive bar with live music and no street sign tucked away on Ann St Fortitude Valley.

Just like wandering into an underhouse party at a mate’s place, King Lears Throne is a laidback indie alternative to the more glammed up bars nearby.

Local artworks adorn the walls and out back is a small bar that stocks hard-to-find spirits like Evan Williams bourbon whiskey, Casmigos tequila, Zubrowska Bison vodka, Stolen Smoked rums and Haymans Sloe Gin along with shots and liqueur such as Green Fairy Absinthe and Spanish Licor 43. There’s also a choice of craft beer and 2 types of red or white wine.

As well as live music and Tuesday night karaoke for entertainment, there’s also a foosball table and Mortal Kombat arcade game.
