Children's Art Programs

QAGOMA

Looking for the perfect day out for you and your tiny art-lover? Uncover a world of art with the Children’s Art Centre programs at QAG and GOMA.

With dedicated programs for every age, children and their carers can immerse themselves in exhibitions, participate in engaging activities, and learn about art and culture.

Art Starters
Children's Art Programs QAGOMA

Art Starters is a welcoming destination for anyone looking to gently introduce the world of contemporary art to their new addition, between the ages of 4-12 months.

QAGOMA's facilitators share the stories behind selected artworks, while you and your baby enjoy songs, games, and visual stimulation. Each tour concludes with a tummy-time session during which your baby can play with a variety of sensory objects.

Selected Thursdays | 10:15am & 11:30am | 45 minutes | GA $10, Gallery Members $7

Art Play Date
Children's Art Programs QAGOMA

Art Play Date is perfect for ages 1-3 with a joyful focus on open-ended play. It encourages toddlers to learn about an artwork through songs, movement and games.

During each session, children go into the gallery space to view the artwork, followed by a loose parts play session that
gives them lots of time to explore different objects inspired by what they have seen.

Selected Tuesdays | 10:15am & 11:30am | 45 minutes | GA $10, Gallery Members $7

Art Explorers

Art Explorers sets your older child up for an adventure in the Gallery to discover an artwork. Perfect for those art-curious 3–5-year olds with energy to spare.

Following discussion and games, each program concludes with a making activity for children to create something inspired by what they have seen.

Selected Wednesdays | 10:15am | 45 minutes | GA $10, Gallery Members $7

Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to discover the power of art and ignite your little ones’ creativity. Choose the perfect session and plan your visit today! Bookings are essential.
