Rocks Riverside Promenade

This delightfully scenic walking track of about 6km return and cycle path heads east away from the highway, bordered by towering gums

Yeronga To UQ

Those looking for a non-taxing stroll may enjoy the first 2 km return section of this semi-shaded walk along the river

John Oxley River Walk

The gorgeous grounds of the University of Queensland are the backdrop for this scenic Brisbane river walk, which circumnavigates the historic centre of learning dating from 1921.

New Farm To Teneriffe

This leafy riverside trail includes the option for a meander through splendid New Farm Park

Mangrove Walk

This state of the art river walk passes the mangroves on the Northern CBD, with bird-themed features

City Botanic Gardens

Walk near river inside the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, CBD

Starting at City Botanic Gardens take the riverside pathway which joins up with a new overwater walk before rejoining the land at Eagle Street Pier. Continue along past Riverside to Howard Smith Wharves

Graceville River Walk

Following a scenic river gum-shaded path of around 2 km return, this peaceful walk has a playground at each end as well as a quirky role in Brisbane’s convict history
