Azteca is a stunning restaurant and bar where Latin America meets South East Asia on the Terrace (Level 4) of The Star Brisbane's new entertainment and dining hub at Queens Wharf.

The 126 seater venue, which is inspired by Latin America with touches of Asian fusion, boasts  full length water features in- built into the restaurant walls, opulent full fabrics and mosaic tiles and Aztec artwork throughout.

With live greenery, custom-made brass tables, semi-private circular pods from floor to ceiling and hugging sofa chairs, Azteca has been intricately designed with hidden features throughout, including a secret Private Dining Room for 14 guests behind a stunning handcrafted Aztec wooden door, with opulent custom ceramics from Latin America.

Helming the kitchen is Head Chef, Zac Sykes of Merivale and Rockpool group, who, with his culinary team, has created a stunning custom menu that fuses bold Latin American flavors with the vibrant energy of Asian cuisine.

The menu features delectable dishes like Elgin Valley free range half chicken covered in dark chocolate mole sauce; dry aged Gooralie free range pork chop served with grilled pineapple and fermented jalapeño ;and 24-hour S.Kidman f1 premium wagyu short rib, sake, mirin, soy and asian leaves.

The food menu sits alongside a curated cocktail selection boasting Latin American spirits which are paired to perfection with Asian spices and flavours.

Azteca joins the growing list of unique dining experiences at The Star Brisbane, including Black Hide by Gambaro and Italian Cucina Regina [both located on The Terrace], Sokyo Brisbane, Celebrity Chef Luke Nguyen’s dynamic Asian street food favourite Fat Noodle, Sky Deck’s Aloria, Babblers and Cicada Blu, live entertainment venue LiveWire and a state-of-the-art Sports Bar.

Good to know - Azteca is owned by hospitality powerhouse  Potentia Solutions Leisure (the creative force behind Lina Rooftop, Soko Rooftop, Carmen Tequileria and Claw BBQ) who are renowned for their innovative concepts that push outside of the boundaries.
