Osteria Epoca is a charming Italian café, bar, deli and restaurant tucked away in an historic little pocket of Yeronga, opposite a park.

Embracing the community feel of this riverside suburb, the restaurant is cultivating the neighbourhood vibes that an Italian eatery is all about.

Osteria Epoca serves lunch and dinner, as well as cocktails. beer, wine and coffee. The restaurant is large, with bar seating, indoor tables and outdoor tables available

There is a range of antipasti treats on the menu, such as coccoli (handmade fried garlic bread, whipped ricotta & hot honey); wagyu beef carpaccio; burrata board (Modena vinegar roasted grapes, pistachio, thyme, coccoli fried pizza bread); and arancini (zucchini, fior di latte, gorgonzola, aioli).

Mains include a range of delicious pasta dishes (including rigatoni alla vodka, spaghetti puttanesca; traditional carbonara; gnocchi lobster and lasagne); as well as traditional pizzas such as margherita, capricciosa, diavola, boscaiola and gamberino); and Secondi such as Bistecca (300g sirloin, creamy marsala mushrooms, roasted potatoes) and Scalloppine Funghi.

As for dessert, there's a choice of tiramisu, large cannoli, angioletti fritti (fried dough balls rolled in cinnamon sugar served with nutella and gelato); affogato; and srobet or gelato.

The Italian-flavoured cocktail list includes Martinis (lychee, espresso or classic); Spritz (including mimosa, aperol, hugo and rosemary limoncello); Negroni and Italian Firecracker (lemon gin, vanilla vodka, chilli, lime, simple syrup). Wines are mostly Italian with a smattering of Australian and New Zealand drops, whilst beers include local craft beer on tap and bottled Peroni.

Barista-made coffee is sourced from a local roaster and is presented with gold coffee beans. Alternatively, there are pots of tea, sparkling Italian water and soft drinks.
