Metropole Bar Eatery
Brisbane Cbd
Metropole Bar Eatery is a spacious new age contemporary bar and dining hall perched up on the first floor of 180 Ann St in Brisbane CBD.

A cut above a food hall but with the same casual eating vibe and variety of budget takeaway food counters, Metropole Bar and Eatery (from the folk behind Bar Pacino) features a backlit bar with five beers and cider on tap, espresso bar and a range of food outlets offering Japanese (sushi and ngiri), Vietnamese (rice paper rolls and banh mi), Chinese (including sweet and sour pork, satay chicken, Mongolian beef and Shanghai steak) and a selection of wraps and rolls (think Chicken Caesar and Mediterranean fillings) and bacon and egg rolls as well as salads.

Diners and drinkers can take away or sit overlooking the street or the heritage-listed ex-School of Arts and servants home next door, in booths, individual or communal tables or outside on the garden terrace under a stunning feature sandstone wall.

Need to know – To reach Metropole Bar Eatery, take the first small flight of steps then tucked away to the left undercover is a small escalator (the large escalator from the street bypasses Metropole).
