Epilo is a delightful coffee and plant shop tucked away on an industrial side street in Woolloongabba.

Nestled next to automobile and bike repair shops, Epilo adds living colour to the streetscape with its plethora of plants, plus a variety of ceramic pots, woven baskets, plant stands and more.

Occupying a warehouse, the ground floor is dedicated to indoor plants from fiddle leaf figs and philodendrons to monsteras and many more, including some rare, hard to find specimens. The majority of plants are grown in owner Harleigh's own backyard, while others are sourced from sustainable wholesale nurseries.

Meanwhile, the mezzanine level is decked out with tables and chairs where customers can enjoy an expertly brewed cup of Allpress Espresso, roasted locally in East Brisbane, accompanied by a delicious homemade treat such as triple layer caramel slice or dark chocolate brownie, as well as gluten-free and vegan slices. You can even pick up a jar of homemade apricot jam or pickles.

Besides coffee, there are beetroot and turmeric lattes, hot chocolate, chai, milkshakes, and refreshing, floral-infused iced teas: berry and native violet, rose and mint, or passionfruit and hibiscus.
