Bean

Cbd

Those tired of the city streets can find refuge and fab coffee downstairs in Brisbane CBD's beat secret hideaway Bean, through the old carriageway next to Irish Murphy's.

Follow the groovy vinyl tunes echoing off the old brick lane and around the corner some steps lead to a grity basement basement occupied by coffee lounge, gallery and sometime wine bar Bean.

There's not a lot to Bean except a handful of chairs and couches, muffins, cookies, tasty budget breakfasts and, come end of the week, craft beer, small batch wines and cocktails but the vibe is popping into an old friend's digs for a bit of time out – which in the CBD translates to priceless.
