Little Red Providore
Little Red Providore, which occupies a colonial corner store in Red Hill, is a foodie’s haven and a local artisan’s creative hub.
With a bright red door, it’s hard to miss Little Red Providore as you wander through the quaint streets of Red Hill. The bespoke café is laden with on-sale arts and crafts, as well as quality coffee blends and delicious, fresh seasonal dishes. With a homey convivial layout, there is plenty of seating upstairs, downstairs and even outside in the sun-filled courtyard.
The café supports local artisans and producers, stocking their space with ceramics, textiles, art, West End tea blends, Bee One Third honey and Pot Belly Pies.
Little Red Providore's spontaneous menu changes daily, pending on the seasonal produce and what the Chef’s feel like creating. There will always be a bounty of fresh enticing salads, homemade frittata of some sort, homemade pie, daily specials and other delectable dishes in the open cabinet. Ensure you order your dishes with a side of their store chilli sauce, made on-site in the Little Red Providore kitchen – it’s to die for!
Dine in for breakfast and munch on your favourite avo’ on toast with all the trimmings. Or dig in to one of their freshly baked pastries or other breakfast specials. If you feel like making breakfast at home instead, grab yourself some freshly baked Crust & Co bread and some locally made jam – all available at Little Red Providore.
Local tea, coffee and a range of cold beverages are available to purchase. On Sunday, it is BYO bubbles.
Nice to know – Little Red Providore holds a local’s night every four to six weeks, where patrons bring their own booze and have a load of fun chit-chatting the night away. Events can also be held in the café, with all areas available for hire. The café will soon be expanding into nextdoor– by opening their own pottery studio.
Need to know – Street parking is available nearby.
