Alberto’s Shot Cafe

West End

A short hop from the river, this delightful cafe in an old converted shop has no competition for miles but this hasn’t stopped it from offering top notch food, Italian-style hospitality and well-made coffee.

The menu is small, with a focus on quality not quantity and is very well priced. Offerings include a breakfast muesli containing nuts from local legend Mick's Nuts, an ever changing range of Italian pastries from northern star Dolci Sappori. Otherwise there’s arancini for $10, foccacia for $8.50 and daily specials of risotto or pasta for around $12.
