Wurtulla Currimundi Off Leash Dog Beach

Wurtulla

A secluded piece of dog paradise lies to the north and south of Lake Currimundi, albeit one that is off leash between 4pm and 8am – a varied landscape including a wide stretch of sand, dunes and pounding surf interspersed with the rocky inlets where lake meets sea.

This is an excellent spot for those wanting a laidback place that is not too overrun by pooches and owners and well worth an early morn or late afternoon visit.

Those arriving on the north side will find parking along Oceanic Drive or the little cul-de-sacs off the far end of Parkhaven Drive, from where a track leads from the conservation area to the beach. Meantime those arriving south can find lake-front parking along Westaway Pde.
