Fortitude Valley

Illusion by no.5 is an extraordinary 2D bar and cafe that literally feels like you've stepped into an optical illusion, tucked away off Winn Lane in Ann St, Fortitude Valley.

Australia’s first and only seven-days-a-week 2D inspired venue, the tiny 2-level boutique cafe/bar is a surreal vision of white, with everything including the furniture bordered in black to give a cartoonish feel to the setting.

Patrons can take a seat upstairs where a mezzanine overlooks the action below or in the long narrow downstairs area, which has a piano tucked in near the bar.
