Steamtrain Espresso Bar

Steamtrain Espresso Bar is a cool coffee nook in Auchenflower serving specialty coffee along with all day breakfast and lunch fare.

Located near Auchenflower railway station, this train-themed industrial-styled cafe is a sibling for Steamtrain Espresso in Red Hill. Here, customers can sit on the mezzanine level overlooking the cosy space, on the ground floor, and outdoors with dog-friendly dining provided.

All day breakfast fare ranges from smashed avocado and slow-roasted Swiss brown mushrooms on rye, to house made chilli beans on sourdough with blistered tomatoes and feta, and potato and sweet potato hash served with mushrooms, kale chips, poached egg and salsa verde.

Likewise, lunch dishes are available all day including lip-smacking burgers served with crispy fries or fresh salad. Think spiced chicken and apple slaw on milk buns and mushroom burgers with garlic and thyme butter slow-roasted mushrooms and haloumi. 

Coffee on pour is by boutique coffee outfit Cavalier Coffee Roasters, best accompanied by a scrumptious chocolate fudge brownie.  

Besides coffee, there are HRVST St cold pressed juices and smoothies.
