A White Christmas In July

Eat Street Northshore

Experience the splendour and magic of A White Christmas in July with music by the Underground Opera Company at Eat Street Northshore's inaugural Chef's Laneway Long-table Dinner Series.

Part of the stunning marketplace will be transformed into a winter wonderland with real snow in a covered Christmas-themed laneway festooned with dazzling decorations and lights.

Guests will be treated to complimentary festive drinks and canapes before taking their seats for a traditional Christmas feast, including turkey and Christmas pudding, followed by mulled port. The delectable menu, which is served as share platters for 4, is the creation of Eat Street's own resident chef Peter Dressler (ex-Alchemy and Buffalo Club).

Throughout the evening three performances by the fabulous Underground Opera Company will include Hollywood favourites, popular classics and traditional sing-along Christmas carols.

To purchase dinner beverages, a beverage list will be available and wait staff will source guests' selections from the Laneway's John Oxley Bar.

Need to know - Guests need to rug up and dress snugly for the snowy occasion. Large group table bookings are welcome.

Nice to know - In future months, these 'out-of-trading-hours' LaneWay dinners, held on the last Wednesday of the month, will showcase the culinary talents of Brisbane's best restaurant chefs and the cream of Eat Street's innovators.
