Valley Fiesta is back in 2018 with an epic new 5-day format and an awesome packed program of entertainment from Aug 29-Sep 2.
The 22nd edition of the Valley’s flagship festival will feature live music, theatre, food, workshops, performance and visual arts across three laneways and more than 40 venues in the Fortitude Valley precinct.
A pop-up Main Ring in the Brunswick Street Mall will host free daily entertainment including headline act Le Coup Cabaret, a high-flying, high-energy performance by Brisbane’s own contemporary circus troupe, Company 2.
Program highlights include All That Remains, a visual storytelling performance by Digi Youth Arts; The Ballad of Rosie Quinn, an immersive window into Brisbane’s convict past; and The Ironing Maidens, a cutting edge musical experience that’ll transform the way you look at housework and electronic music.
The Valley precinct will come alive throughout as its many fabulous venues host special Fiesta events and the streets are taken over by larger-than-life projection and inflatable art installations.
This year festival-goers will have a choice of three fantastic laneway parties: Bakery Lane, Winn Lane and the inaugural Greaser Laneway party will all feature live music, pop-up bars and good times.
Closing out Valley Fiesta will be 4ZZZ's pop-up tropical oasis on the Chinatown Carpark rooftop, an afternoon garden party where guests can chill-out to the sounds of live local acts.
