THIS EVENT IS NOW IN THE PAST. FOR MORE GREAT THINGS TO DO AND SEE IN AND AROUND BRISBANE, PLEASE HEAD TO OUR WHAT'S ON PAGE HERE

Brides-to-be who are yet to plan their wedding should not miss the magnificent Twilight Wedding Showcase at the beautiful QUT Gardens Point Precinct.

Two main stunning settings, one heritage-listed old world and one contemporary with panoramic views are available for ceremonies, photos and receptions and on-hand will be the experienced QUT Events Team who can tailor a package to meet individual needs.

Choose from the elegant vintage surrounds of Old Government House (Queensland’s most important landmark heritage building) for a ceremony, photos or reception, with its grand sweeping timber staircase, Swarovski Crystal Chandelier, wraparound verandahs, striking colonial sandstone façade and lush lawns.

As Brisbane's original hotspot, it has seen some one hundred and fifty years of magnificent events, including balls, receptions and garden parties, and is renowned for its stunning vintage aesthetic.

Or go for the modern option of the spectacular Room Three Sixty, which occupies the entire top floor of QUT's world class Science & Engineering Centre. Boasting floor-to-ceiling glass and two open air terraces to take in the jaw-dropping 360 degree views of the city skyline, this impressive space can accommodate 200 guests banquet style, 260 theatre style and 360 cocktail style.

Want a mix of both old and new? They why not get married at Old Government House and have the reception at Room Three Sixty - the choice is yours.

A bespoke group of QUT’s preferred wedding specialist suppliers will also be on site during the showcase and ready to talk through any and all ideas.
