Head to Noosa for a fantastic weekend of live music and stunning scenery when Sounds on Noosa Foreshore - Noosa Busking Championship takes over the Sunshine Coast town for 2 fun-filled days in June.

On Saturday, June 5th the Noosa Foreshore will come alive with the sound of music as quirky, talented and aspiring performers take to the banks of the Noosa River for a variety of street performances, entertaining locals and visitors alike.

Enjoy Queensland's glorious winter weather and stroll along Gympie Terrace as the famous foreshore doubles as a stage. A wonderul array of eclectic artists will perform for passers by at hot spots dotted along the Noosa River, including pathways, street corners, café and restaurant fronts

Whilst the genres, talent and music will differ, the performers have a common goal - to get your foot tapping and your smile happening. Plus, there's an opportunity for spectators to vote in the People’s Choice Award by buying 'busking tokens' and giving to their favourite busker(s).

On Sunday, June 6th, the finalists will perform live on a variety of stages at Lions Park as part of the Noosa Come Together Music, Family & Fun Festival, and the winners will be announced.

So, make a weekend of it, bring your family and friends, pack a picnic, spread a rug, and relax as the buskers' tunes fill the air. This is a fantastic, free event for live music which saw Tones & I perform in the 2018 Championship shortly before her rise to fame. You might just witness the next international music sensation!

Need to know - Buskers will play throughout the day at hot spots dotted along the Noosa River Foreshore (Gympie Terrace) from 9am-3pm in half-hour sessions.
