The skies above Pelican Park, Clontarf will be filled with colour and excitement when the Redcliffe KiteFest returns to the Moreton Bay region for a HUGE weekend of fun on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September, 2024.

Celebrating its 29th year, this iconic event on the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula promises a weekend of world-class kite displays, live character performances, kids activities, and so much more!

A highlight of this year’s festival is the headline act, Emma Memma. The ARIA award-winning children's musical superstar will grace the Sesame Lane main stage with an incredible kid's show guaranteed to get them up and dancing.

The action-packed program is filled with exciting activities and attractions including

  • World-Class International and Domestic Kite Flyers: Enjoy breathtaking custom kite displays all weekend
  • Hot Wheels Fun Zone: A thrilling area for kids to immerse themselves in Hot Wheels-themed fun
  • Carnival Rides: Classic and new rides to entertain visitors of all ages
  • KiteFest Kids Zone: A dedicated area for children with various engaging activities
  • Daily Aerobatic Display: Watch in awe as skilled pilots perform daring aerial stunts

In addition, KiteFest attendees can look forward a range of food stalls offering delicious food and drink, plus an array of market stalls showcasing unique crafts and wares.
