Phoenix Coffee
Paddington
UPDATE: Phoenix closed in January 2024 due to building renovations.
Phoenix is a funky coffee shop with killer tunes, located in heart of Paddington on Latrobe Terrace.
The cafe's name pays homage to a tragic event in 1962 that saw the Paddington Tram Depot go up in flames, and along with it, the iconic Phoenix Trams.

Inside the bolt-hole coffee shop, a huge mural of the mythical Phoenix covers one entire wall. There are a few tables and chairs, with additional seating provided on the footpath including a couple of old church pews.

Expertly crafted coffee is supplied by local roaster Bellissimo Coffee, served along with Origin teas, cold pressed juices, kombucha and more.
Plus, there's a handful of healthy treats like fig, nut & grain bars, as well as decadent desserts such as chocolate fudge and carrot cake.
