Experience the ultimate blend of sporty thrills and creative spills at Park Play, a FREE school holiday program for kids, nestled in the heart of Victoria Park!

Held on 24-26 June and 1-3 July from 9am–1pm each day, children will engage in a range of activities from soccer showdowns and egg and spoon races to crafting masterpieces – there's something for everyone to enjoy. Plus, get ready to groove and move with breakdancing workshops that'll have you spinning and twirling in no time!

Whether you're a sports enthusiast, a craft connoisseur or a dance dynamo, there's endless fun waiting for you at Victoria Park. So, gather your friends and family for an unforgettable adventure at Park Play these school holidays.

Monday 24 June 

Breakdance workshop - Get ready to bust a move and step into the world of rhythm and movement. Learn cool moves, express yourself and build confidence in a fun-filled environment while making friends and creating memories.

Woodwork skate parks - Create your very own mini skate park. Using wood glue and a huge assortment of timber shapes, you will have the opportunity to create a 3D model to take home with you.

Tuesday 25 June

Athletic games -Test your strength and speed with a dose of fun, with games like egg & spoon races and rubber chicken javelin throwing!

Craft games - Let's make, let's throw, let's run, let's wand, let's fly – it's crafting games – let's give it a try.

Wednesday 26 June 

Touch Rugby League - Join in the fun with this series of Junior Touch Rugby League (TRL) skills and games. Coaches will help you develop your skills and level up your game to become a master at TRL! Please wear enclosed shoes, no studs. Suitable for ages 5-12 years. For safety, numbers may be limited but wait times won't be long!

Outdoor challenges with Scouts Queensland - Create your own flag, build a flagpole, and fly your own flag. Compete in the Scouts championships with tent building, water filtering and boiling, and fire lighting. Finish off with running your torch through the obstacle course, passing all the nations of the world as you vie for the ultimate podium place.

Monday 1 July 

Soccer skills - Play soccer with your friends and family! Learn the rules and skills of the game, then put yourself to the test to see who takes the top spot.

Outdoor challenges with Scouts Queensland - Create your own flag, build a flagpole, and fly your own flag. Compete in the Scouts championships with tent building, water filtering and boiling and fire lighting. Finish off with running your torch through the obstacle course passing all the nations of the world as you vie for the ultimate podium place.

Colourful posters - Using Colourful Minds art easels and a range of watercolour paints, children are encourage to colour and design artwork for their home.

So mark your calendars these winter school holidays and dive into a world of sports and craft where kids of all ages can unleash their talents and ignite their imaginations. 

Bookings are not required – simply show up on the day and join the fun. Entry via Gilchrist Avenue, Herston. All ages are welcome though activities are best enjoyed by kids aged 3-12 years old.
