OHM Festival returns to Brisbane Powerhouse from February 28 to April 20, 2024 to celebrate boundary-pushing music, captivating installations and mesmerising multimedia shows. These are a few of the highlights:

Arka Kinari, Mar 16+23, Free 

Arka Kinari docks at New Farm Park on Sat 16 Mar and Sat 23 Mar at 6pm for an exciting, free concert and multimedia show.

Michael Rother & Friends, Feb 28 , $69 + booking fee 

Michael Rother and Klaus Dinger’s landmark self-titled album NEU! defined an era of underground music. 50 years after its release, the album’s influence continues to be enormous. A former member of one of the most influential German bands, Kraftwerk, Michael Rother is artist whose influence changed the face of music. Celebrate 50 years of NEU! with Michael Rother and friends on February 28.

The Necks, Feb 29, $49 + booking fee 

The band the New York Times famously dubbed “the greatest trio on Earth” have never repeated the same performance, delivering stunningly improvised shows that send audiences into an ecstatic trance. Don't miss the opportunity to experience The Necks’ legendary improv skills in this one-of-a-kind performance at Brisbane Powerhouse.

Yothu Yindi, Mar 2, $89 + booking fee 

Since bursting onto the scene in the late 1980s, Yothu Yindi made history as the first Aboriginal band to peak on the ARIA singles chart and gain international recognition with hits like Treaty and Tribal Voice. As words for their timeless anthem Treaty reverberate into present-day conversations, this band - featuring original band members and fresh talent from the next generation - will make you think, feel and move. 

Lydia Lunch & Joseph Keckler, Mar 7+8, $55 + booking fee   

Queen of the 70s no wave scene, Lydia Lunch shares dynamic, daring spoken word and poetry accompanied by Joseph Keckler’s ‘musical histrionics’.  Passionate, confrontational and bold, together this iconic pair will regale tales of madness, longing and lust.

Colossus by Stephanie Lake Co, Apr 17-20, $49 + booking fee 

Following sell-out seasons across the country with Manifesto, internationally renowned Australian choreographer Stephanie Lake makes a triumphant return to Brisbane with her monumental work, Colossus.
