McGregor Spring Arts Retreat is a unique weekend of collaboration, connection and creation up in beautiful Toowoomba, during the garden city's most vibrant season.
The 2-day Spring Retreat is designed for everyday people to immerse themselves in creation and is a great way to dip your toes into a new art-form, medium or skill.
Held on campus at the University of Southern Queensland (Toowoomba), Spring Retreat brings world renowned tutors to you – helping you build the confidence to tackle your own projects at home.
On offer are 10 classes, including millinery, leather work, oil painting, acrylics, ceramics, watercolour and photography. The tutor line-up includes Archibald Prize finalist Penelope Gilbert-Ng (teaching acrylics), esteemed painter Abramo Papp (teaching oils) and Australian designer Cherryl McIntyre (teaching leather work).
Tuition includes morning tea, afternoon tea, lunch and an amazing Friday night concert featuring guitarist Doug de Vries. (Early bird - $277, Standard - $297).
