Tales of Lust and Madness promises to be a highlight of the OHM Festival 2024, featuring American performers Lydia Lunch and Joseph Keckler at the Underground Theatre in Brisbane Powerhouse on Thursday March 7 and Friday, March 8, 2024.

This dynamic duo, hailing from the heart of New York's artistic underground, promises an intimate evening filled with provocative musical poetry. Lydia Lunch, the queen of the 70s no wave scene and post-punk anti-hero, joins forces with Joseph Keckler, a singular artist known for his stirring voice and vivid prose. Together, they weave a tapestry of passion, confrontation, and bold storytelling.

Lydia Lunch, a celebrated writer and poet, brings decades of experience, having collaborated with iconic figures like Nick Cave, Henry Rollins, and Sonic Youth, among others. Her spoken word and poetry are set to Joseph Keckler's 'musical histrionics,' creating a unique and unforgettable experience for the audience.

Joseph Keckler, with performances that dance between comedy, commentary, and communion, adds an extra layer of intrigue to the evening. The synergy between these two notorious performers promises an exploration of madness, longing, and lust that is both captivating and thought-provoking.

Passionate, confrontational and bold. This iconic pair regale tales of madness, longing and lust. Don't miss the chance to witness the magic unfold as Lydia Lunch and Joseph Keckler share their iconic tales in a night that is sure to be memorable. It's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the artistry of two trailblazers who continue to push boundaries and redefine the possibilities of live performance.
