Courier Mail Spiegeltent - Brisbane Festival

LIFE the show will take audiences on a sizzling adults-only ride when international stage deviants, Strut & Fret, return to Brisbane Festival, September 6 - 29, in The Courier-Mail Spiegeltent.

Anyone who's seen Strut & Fret Production House's previous works, such as Blanc de Blanc and Limbo Unhinged, will know they don't do things by halves. If full frontal nudity, attempted pyrokinesis (the supposed psychic ability to control fire by the mind), drug references and adult concepts are to your liking, you're guaranteed to have a ball.

A mind-and-body-bending new show with an awe-inspiring combination of circus, cabaret and acrobatics, LIFE the show is described as "a bold and immersive celebration of what it means to be human, and the extraordinary capabilities of the human body".

Clowning royalty Goos Meeuwsen (Cirque du Soleil), Mick Stuart and Hilton Denis (LIMBO), Blaise Garza (Violent Femmes), and multi-lingual jazz vocalist Fantine make up the impressive cast. They'll be leading audiences on an adventure of trickery, spectacle and theatrical anarchy.

Festival Artistic Director David Berthold says of the combo, "Strut & Fret has been scintillating Brisbane Festival audiences since 2014 with their trademark mix of sizzle, sex, scandal, and edge-of-your-seat spectacle." He guarantees you'll never want to leave the 'joyous and unadulterated party'.
