Teen - Try a Trade Day

Do you have a budding mechanic, chef, hairdresser or plumber? Or is there a future nurse, builder or teacher in your household?
The Australian Trade College North Brisbane Try a Trade & Chef by Trade events offer young people the opportunity to discover first-hand what it’s like to learn and train at the trade school of excellence.
Students can try one of five trade rotations covering Construction, Plumbing, Electro-technology; Automotive & Metal Engineering; Cookery; Early Childhood & Health Services; or Hairdressing & Barbering.
Open for people aged 14 to 17 years old, the Try A Trade & Chef by Trade programs range from $20 to $50 and cover all materials, eye and ear protection. Lunch is also provided on the day.
