A mind-blowing take on Swan Lake, Duck Pond will waddle and pirouette its way onto the Playhouse QPAC stage for its world premiere from July 5-8.

Audiences of all ages will be treated to a re-imagining of the world’s most romantic ballet as a thrilling circus epic, showcasing Circa’s signature physicality and featuring live-feed green screen action and haute couture costumes.

Ballet enthusiasts, fairy tale lovers, and circus aficionados will be captivated by this unique production, which seamlessly weaves together elements from two beloved classics, Swan Lake and The Ugly Duckling.

Using a variety of acrobatic languages, the graceful allure of the Black Swan's seductive burlesque meets the comical antics of the Duck Army in their sparkling sequined flippers.

Good to know - Duck Pond follows a successful history of collaborations between QPAC and Circa bringing acclaimed new circus works to Australian and international stages including Carnival of the Animals, Humans 2.0 and Peepshow.
