Brisbane Arcade's famous annual workroom sale, held over 4 fabulous days, will feature some never-seen-before special finds, exclusive samples and discounted designer fashion from the heritage arcade's designer workrooms and specialty boutiques.
The headquarters of Queensland’s couture fashion since it opened in 1924, Brisbane's oldest and grandest shopping arcade will host its much anticipated annual workroom sale from Thursday, January 30 to Sunday, February 2.
Discerning shoppers will able to purchase heavily discounted items from renowned names such as BethWyn Fabrics, Belle Folie, Brisbane Hatters, Helen Grant Boutique, Wendy Louise Designs, Darb Couture, Indepal, Issada Cosmetics, Keri Craig Emporium, Pia du Pradal, Tengdahl and The Tea Centre.
Think gorgeous European fabrics and fabric remnants, workroom samples, designer fashion, bridal accessories, jewellery, millinery, leather goods, tea accessories and more.
This annual sale always creates a flurry of excitement as the Arcade’s designers delve deep into their workrooms and boutiques, and clear out their seconds, samples, sale stock and other special finds.
Some of Brisbane Arcade's 2020 sale specials include beautiful fabric remnants, scarves and fabric bags from BethWyn Couture Fabrics, a giant range of leather goods starting from just $10 at Indepal Leather, and a selection of colour cosmetics, skin care and accessories up to 70% off at the iconic Australian make-up brand Issada Cosmetics.
Brides-to-be will be able to buy a stunning sample bridal gown designed by Darb Couture, and complete their bridal look with jewellery and hair accessories well below cost at Wendy Louise Designs, including brooches, earrings, combs and more.
Meanwhile, fashionistas can bag a bargain at Keri Craig Emporium with European fashion labels (Elisa Cavaletti, Tuzzi, Simons Vignoli, Clips, Isabel De Pedro, Amtica Santoria and Lorena Benetton) selling from as little as $50 with many below cost.
Pia du Pradal will be peddling her impeccably tailored jackets, skirts and pants plus Italian fabrics reduced to clear, while Tengdahl will be selling discounted designer fashion from their recent collections, production samples from $20, bags of fabric offcuts, and some fabrics by the metre.
Nice to know - Proceeds from Brisbane Arcade's Workroom Sale will go the University of Queensland Medical School and medical research.
