TAFE Queensland’s South Bank campus will play host to the hottest artistic talents, plus pop-up food stalls, family entertainment, yoga sessions and more, when the annual CRE8 Festival comes alive for one night only on Thursday November 28.  

A totally free event, CRE8 Festival is Brisbane’s leading interactive creative arts festival and has forged quite the reputation for showcasing the next generation of artistic superstars.

Treat your eyes to a visual feast by wandering down a trendy alleyway featuring pop art, abstract art pieces and a colourful wonderland of paintings. Here you can catch a fascinating glimpse of artists in action as three painters work on their masterpieces.

There’s plenty of hands-on things to do, including making your own hanging plant and silver earrings, glamming up with glitter henna, braids and jewelled make-up, or even lending your handiwork to a cool colouring-in mural. Visitors can also make history by taking part in Brisbane’s very first black light meditation and glow-in-the-dark yoga session.

Gamers will have a chance to lose themselves in both the hottest new release and vintage arcade games, while fans of a free feed will enjoy tucking into the Asian-style noodles, delicious mocktails, glow-in-the-dark donuts and LED fairy floss.

Nice to know - CRE8 Festival is a family-friendly event, and there’s even a cool Play Zone where kids can colour in and have a play.
