Bunkasaurus is a raucous, all-ages adventure from Bunk Puppets, the DIY masters of puppetry and theatrical wizardry, coming to Ipswich Art Gallery these school holidays from Monday, June 27 to Friday, July 8, 2022.

Award-winning Bunk Puppets, the creators of Swamp Juice and Sticks Stones Broken Bones, have created an immersive universe steeped in imagination and creativity, using simple materials and everyday household items.

Audiences will witness the ordinary become the extraordinary in this inspiring and captivating performance. When two clowns are distracted from serious business, they soon discover that the boxes and everyday objects surrounding them are the cure for boredom! As they take turns trying to outdo one another, their antics become more and more outrageous.

Featuring slapdash puppets, comical characters, and mesmerising illusions, Bunkasaurus offers affordable, family-friendly entertainment this school holiday!

Bunkasaurus is recommended for 5 years and over. Each performance 45 minutes duration. No intermission.

Warning: This event includes strobe lighting and 3D glasses.

Tickets cost $7 per person. Adults and children both require tickets and children must be accompanied by an adult ticket-holder. Entry is FREE for under 2s not occupying a seat.

Tickets must be reserved online, and paid AT THE DOOR on arrival prior to your booked session. EFTPOS facilities only. Extremely limited walk-in tickets available. Book online to avoid disappointment.
