BILLYKART WEST END HAS CLOSED IN 2023.

Billykart is a foodie oasis of cool tucked away uphill off the Melbourne St drag of West End.

Billykart West End

The interior is like a mega funky garage with a mix of industrial décor peppered with greenery, a bar area near the entrance and up the back a faux façade of a West End cottage with coloured glass window panes.

The menu is a study of quiet sophistication, with delicious options for breakfast such as Crispy Corn Fritters with grilled avocado, heirloom tomatoes and chilli, Spanner Crab and Scallop congee, Carne Asada with fried eggs, habanero salsa and chiccharones or Sprouted Seed Loaf with avocado tahini, taramasalata and pickled green tomato and fresh herbs. Waffles and pancakes are also starts of the breakfast menu - try the Eggs Bender, with crispy potato waffles, house smoked hot salmon, poached eggs and horseradish hollandaise or Buttermilk and Ricotta Pancakes with coconut caramel banana.

When breakfast finished as 11am, an equally delectable lunch menu kicks in, featuring lighter options such as Salumi Board, Carpaccio of squash and zucchini with goats curd, mint and chilli, or House Cured Ocean Trout with roasted beets, dill and kefir sour cream.
