U.S. comedian and actor, Adam Devine, will showcase his unique brand of comedy when his stand-up show, Weird Life, hits The Tivoli. .
Even if you don’t know the popular comic’s name, the chances are you’ll recognise him from hits shows like Modern Family and movies including Pitch Perfect and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. He’s also in the Comedy central show, Workaholics – which he co-created and wrote, and hosts his own show, Adam Devine’s House Party.
He’s an entertaining guest on talk shows, including Ellen, where he revealed that he got hit by a cement truck at the age of 11 and couldn’t walk for two years. Spending so much time in bed, he got hooked on comedy shows and hasn’t looked back since, starting off doing stand-up in Los Angeles and then being invited to perform at Just for Laughs in Montreal after just two years. He’s currently filming Isn’t It Romantic? with our own Rebel Wilson and Liam Hemsworth.
With his Weird Life Tour coming fresh from a national U.S. tour, Devine will no doubt be in fine form with well-honed material guaranteed to leave audiences in stitches. A sought-after young comedian and actor, his January shows are sure to sell out quickly in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
