What's Cooking In The Gardens?
Redcliffe
What's Cooking in the Gardens? is a celebration of food, lifestyle and sustainability set in the tranquillity of beautiful Redcliffe Botanic Gardens.
For one day the secluded haven turns into a hub of ‘green fun’ where festival-goers will enjoy vibrant displays and demonstrations.
On hand will be a host of gardening and cooking gurus galore who will be sharing their collective years of wisdom on all things eco-botanical.
A highlight of this year’s event will be a cooking demonstration by revered professional chef Matt Golinski, known for his passion for creating cuisine using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients.
Another will be an appearance by gardening guru Don Burke, who, in addition to being the executive producer and host of Burke's Backyard for over 17 years (and winning 6 TV Logies in the process!) was awarded an OAM in 2010 for services to the environment, media and horticulture.
In addition there’ll be fantastic interactive workshops for all ages, demonstrations and displays to learn more about herbs, natural products, and so much more.
Or festival goers can simply enjoy wandering through the paths of market stalls and gourmet food stalls filled with delicious treats and handmade goodies.
