Two

Real life married couple, Brian Meegan and Kate Raison, star in Jim Cartwright’s timeless comedy Two at QUT Gardens Theatre for 2 shows only on March 1 and 2.

Presented by QUT Gardens Theatre and Ensemble Theatre, Two features fourteen fascinating characters, all skilfully performed by Meegan (Sea Patrol, Water Rats) and Raison (A Country Practice, E-Street).

Join these two accomplished and versatile actors for a lively night at the local pub and its colourful cast of misfits, including Moth, who loves Maud (and every other woman) fervently; Mrs Iger, with her passion for quiet, strong men; possessive Roy, jealous of anybody who looks at Lesley (even the darts players); Alice and Fred and their Elvis obsession; and the landlord and landlady who struggle with an unspoken secret.

Funny, heart-warming and poignant, Two is one of Jim Cartwright’s finest plays says director Mark Kilmurry, while Meegan and Raison’s real life chemistry makes for a perfect combination on stage.
