Legally Blonde

Iona Performing Arts Centre

You can fall in love all over again with that very blonde but deceivingly savvy lawyer, Elle Woods, when the musical, Legally Blonde, is presented by Savoyards at the Iona Performing Arts Centre in bayside Lindum.

Brisbane performer, Stacie Hobbs, will play the lead role of Elle, who’ll appear with her adorable Chihuahua, Bruiser. She enrols at Harvard to win back her boyfriend, Warner, who dumped her because she wasn’t serious enough. A lover of all things pink, Elle ends up showing Warner and everyone else that just because you’re blonde and take an inordinately long time doing your hair each morning, it doesn’t mean there isn’t a good brain somewhere in there under the hairspray.

Warner is played by Marcus du Toit, Paulette is played by Natalie Ridoutt, while Jesse Ainsworth is Emmett.

Savoyards Musical Comedy Society always aims for maximum entertainment for audiences, and no doubt Legally Blonde will be a very fun night out at the theatre. The luxurious Iona Performing Arts Centre has wheelchair access, raked seating, a licensed bar, and there’s a special pre-theatre dining offer with nearby Sylvia’s Restaurant & Wine Bar for Savoyards patrons.
