Ipswich Street Feast
Top Of Town
Ipswich Street Feast is an inaugural street festival of fabulous food, underground markets and indie entertainment in the historic Top of Town precinct in Ipswich CBD.
Twelve food trucks and a bunch of market stalls will be lining Brisbane Street for the occasion, with a host of local eateries, cafes and restaurants also throwing open their doors to offer delicious dishes based on the theme ‘warm winter meal’ and showcasing locally sourced ingredients.
And from the food trucks, expect to find finger-lickin’ offerings such as Cajun Pork fingers, Texas Beef Rolls, Crunchy Smoked Fried Chicken and Popcorn Pork.
As well as food, there’ll be plenty of entertainment with live music on three stages, including soul and folk singer Miss Gertrude, popular country music performer Rheanna Leschke, the Nev Ollis Band, rap and beat-boxing, Qld champion bush poet Cay Ellem, fire dancing and street performers keeping the crowds amused.
Also not to be missed is the cool underground Makers Market in Ipswich’s most atmospheric performance space, heritage-listed Goleby’s Basement.
Need to know – While a few food vendors may have EFTPOS available, most are cash only. The nearest ATM facility is in the Ipswich Mall. Entry to the Ipswich Street Feast is free.
