David Bowie: Nothing Has Changed is an absolute must see concert for fans, with QSO and a stellar line up of leading Australian music makers performing Bowie’s most popular hits.
The rich musical legacy of the legendary British singer-songwriter is celebrated at this one off concert event on Saturday October 1 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, with hits that have been personally selected by the performers.
Tex Perkins, Deborah Conway, Steve Kilbey, IOTA and Adalita are the stars who will be joining QSO on stage to perform 30 must do brisbane songs from the Bowie canon including Changes, China Girl, Life on Mars, Under Pressure, Let’s Dance, Starman and Five Years, alongside more obscure songs from his oeuvre.
David Bowie: Nothing has Changed premiered at the Sydney Opera House in May this year with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. A review from TheMusic said that “iOTA opening with Space Oddity was fantastic (everything he touched was gold - Life On Mars was bloody brilliant), Deborah Conway performing Ziggy Stardust brought the Hall to life.”
