The Comedy Experiment

Logan Entertainment Centre

Get ready for 3 hysterical nights of side-splitting laughs when The Comedy Experiment hits the Logan Entertainment Centre from March 23 - 25.

39 Forever

39 Forever on Friday, March 23 has singer Amity Dry asking questions like: Do you still think you’re 25 even though your birthdate stubbornly insists you’re not? Are you enquiring about Botox ‘for a friend’? Sound familiar? After a sell-out season last year, Dry will have you nodding in embarrassed agreement with this show that’s described as “the perfect girls’ night out!” No doubt the fellas will have a ball too. Glam Adelaide’s review said that it was “as sparkly and glittery as her gown, with some notes Streisand and Midler would kill for”.

Saturday, March 24 sees real-life spouses and radio celebs, Stav (Hit105FM) and Kat Davidson (612ABC), taking to the stand-up comedy stage together, in He Said / She Said – a show that’s received rave reviews as the pair airs their dirty laundry and tells stories about their wedded bliss or otherwise. Was Stav’s proposal romantic or cheesy? Was their ‘first time’ special, or tragic? All these questions and more will be answered in honest and amusing anecdotes from both sides of the story.

He Said She Said

The final night of The Comedy Experiment, Sunday, March 25, sees three popular comedians, Claire Hooper, Susie Youssef and Damien Power join forces. Hooper, a former regular on shows like Good News Week, has been indulging on The Great Australian Bake Off recently, while Youssef’s a regular cast member on Whose Line Is It Anyway?, as well as appearing in comedies such as Rosehaven and No activity. You might know Power from his regular segment, Power to the People, on The Project, and he’s been nominated three times for best show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. All of this means plenty of laughs for audiences when this trio does their stuff on the one stage.
