Wake x Brew

West End

Wake x Brew (pronounced Wake and Brew) is a cool little coffee nook tucked away in West End serving all day brunch along with locally roasted Bear Bones espresso and handcrafted boutique tea by Moose Tea.

Located on quiet Kurilpa Street, Wake x Brew is part of a collective, sharing the space with like-minded businesses including an eco-friendly children’s store which offers story time and yoga for kids.

Wake X Brew West End Cafe

Customers can sit on the wide, well-shaded deck and enjoy a well-brewed cup of coffee or tea. The tea is handcrafted by Tania Nepe, who co-owns the café with her cousin Adele Smith. Moose Tea is ethically sourced, loose-leaf tea which includes handcrafted herbal teas and blends such as Chamomile Dream (chamomile, hibiscus, lemongrass and rose petals) and Ch Ch Ch Chai Tea, a well-rounded classic blend of spices and black tea.

Wake X Brew West End Cafe

The all day brunch menu ranges from acai bowls topped with house made granola and seasonal fruit, and smashed avocado on sour vienna with feta, lemon and slow-roasted balsamic tomato, to Bubble and Squeak (roasted rosemary and garlic sweet potato, potato and pumpkin on sour vienna with bacon and free-range poached egg) and the Big V Bowl - a delicious vegan breakfast of herbed roasties, falafel balls, roasted chickpeas, mixed lettuce and slaw with basil pesto and beetroot relish.

In addition, there's a selection of sliders such as homemade beef patty with fried onion ring and tasty cheese, pork fillet with apple slices and crispy potato chips, and fried pineapple with capsicum and slaw - all served on brioche buns with house made sweet tomato relish.

Besides tea and coffee, there's the cafe's signature hot chocolate, tumeric lattes, fresh juices, smoothies and deluxe shakes topped with whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles, 100s & 1000’s, caramel slices and wafers.
