PLANTED WHOLEFOODS HAVE CLOSED AND BEEN REPLACED BY ANOTHER HEALTHY CAFE KING KALE & CO.
"Eat, Drink, Give. Simple" is the catchy motto of Planted Wholefoods Co., an ethically-based cafe in Albion with a strong emphasis on organic, sustainably produced ingredients.
Since their West End caravan days, Planted Wholefoods Co. have expanded into a busy cafe/wholefoods pantry. They have cleverly arranged a recycled themed courtyard with herb plants, wheelbarrows and comfy seating tucked behind the wooden pallet fence.
Edible brunch highlights include smoked trout and potato roesti, black coconut waffles, eggs, and local fruit bowls which feature dragonfruits and biodynamic bananas. Beverages include fresh whole coconuts, cold pressed juices, smoothies, and single blend Colombian coffee.
"The Planted Pledge" means every bite of food from this organic cafe helps local growers, as well as supporting communities overseas to develop self-sufficient and sustainable agricultural practices.
Every meal purchased at Planted Wholefoods Co. helps provide a meal for someone who might otherwise have gone without. Also, every drink purchased at Planted Wholefoods Co. helps provide drinking water for someone with limited access to water.
