Clarence Restaurant

Woolloongabba

Clarence Restaurant is a cosy 19th century European-style bistro nestled in a row of heritage-listed bars and restaurants in Woolloongabba.

Clarence Restaurant Woolloongabba

Occupying a historic terrace shop, the narrow 35 seat restaurant combines industrial chic with old world charm, featuring exposed handmade brick walls, soaring ceilings, dim ambient lighting and an original timber staircase to the rear.

In contrast to the setting, the menu is cutting edge contemporary, with seasonal dishes crafted by chef/part-owner (who hails from Nineteen at the Star and Stokehouse Q) from quality locally sourced produce and a cracking concise wine list to accompany.

On the revolving seasonal menu you'll find appetisers such as Sydney rock oysters or Crudites, buffalo curd, anchovy and dried black olive, accompanied by house-baked sourdough and house-cultured butter.
