Those seeking refuge from the mall crowd and a place to enjoy a civilized drink should make a beerline for Fourth Wall, a convivial little lounge bar tucked away down Ann St. Unlike most Valley bars it's not in a heritage ex-department store or shop but a modern commercial building with a big glass window onto the world outside.
Yet step inside to a cosy candlelit ambience with comfy banquettes atop buffed and polished pallets lining the decorative walls and an abundance of cushions coupled with hominess that make it the kind of place to sink into early in the evening and leave at closing time.
Décor and cushy vibe aside, a major attraction are the killer cocktails made by one of the partner/owners who has done the rounds and mixed it up in other illustrious Valley bars such as Kerbside and X&Y Bar. Mixology magic.
