Wrecking Ball

Judith Wright Centre

Wrecking Ball, the smash hit cabaret starring Matilda award-winning performer Naomi Price, comes swinging onto the Judith Wright Centre stage for 5 nights in November.

And there’s no need to be a Miley fan to enjoy what has been touted as the ultimate coming of age party, twerks and all.

With Hannah Montana pronounced dead and an inconclusive post-mortem that teeters between natural causes and hot-mess homicide, her childhood pal Miley (played by Naomi Price) returns home to Nashville where she skips the funeral and, in true Ms Cyrus style, heads straight for the after-party.

In the process she takes the sledgehammer to Disney idols, teenage dreams and tabloid fantasies, putting an end to it all.

Brought to the stage by the Little Red Production Company and direct from sell-out performances around Brisbane and south east regions, this is the last chance to experience the must-see stage hit of the year before, like Hannah Montana, it gets laid to rest.

Nice to know – Make the night a double-header and keep the party going afterwards on Nov 21-22 with Luke Kennedy and Mark Sholtez performing all new music in their show Off the Record.

Need to know – Judith Wright Centre patrons can take advantage of $6 parking in Wilson Parking on adjacent Berwick St. Details here
