NGON

Paddington

NGON is a funky great value Vietnamese restaurant that consistently draws a crowd on Paddington's Given Tce.

NGON Paddington

Opening originally in a smaller upstairs-downstairs shop, due to its popularity it has up and moved to much larger digs further down the road, where diners can take a seat under the colourful lanterns on the terrace or in the striking industrial chic and street-art adorned interior.

NGON Paddington

Serving authentic Vietnamese cuisine for lunch and dinner and now with an expanded and upgraded menu, NGON is the go-to for dishes you won't find in other Vietnamese restaurants in inner Brisbane, especially at these prices. For dinner, most large plates come in under $20, while generous entrees are mostly around $12.

NGON Paddington

NGON also has a delectable Chef's Special menu that is highly recommended with dishes (for $30) like must-try Bugs Black Bean Herb Butter (battered Moreton Bay bugs, black bean, garlic, butter & Vietnamese herbs), Duck My Way (twice cooked roasted duck, mixed salad, orange, sweet plum & soy sauce) or Sizzling Beef Hot Plate (wagyu beef, caramelized onion, chef's master sauce and bourbon flambe).

And drinks-wise, there's a  good selection of boutique wine by the glass or bottle, beer (including NGON Pale Ale) and cocktails including Mekong Delta Mojito, Saigon Whisky Sour and Vietnamese Espresso Martini.
