Australian Street Entertainment Championships

Get set for four days of street carnival as you’ve never seen it when the Australian Entertainment Championships take over the streets of Surfers Paradise for Easter.

In a family friendly spectacle of colour, light and laughter, some of the world’s best clowns, jugglers, magicians, mimes, acrobats, musicians and puppeteers will be vying for the crowd’s attention and the ultimate champion status on and around four stages.

With the underlying premise that they could lose their crowd at any moment, the performers will be pushing the boundaries of creativity, innovation and fearlessness.

Stages are in each of these zones: Zone 1: Surfers Paradise Beach Volleyball Courts
Zone 2: Cavill Mall Zone 3: Surfers Paradise Foreshore (adjacent to Lifeguard Tower 34) Zone 4: Surfers Paradise Foreshore (opposite Soul).

Renowned entertainers to look out for include Japanese Clown Loto whose hilarious antics with flowers and juggling will have the audience in stitches, and the death-defying motorcycle stunt riders from Aerial Angels in The Globe of Death (scheduled 3 times/day).
