It’s an Outback Easter at the Workshops Rail Museum on the first Sunday of the holidays when The Easter Bilby and his wildlife friends come to visit.
For one special day children can get up close and personal to non-venomous snakes, birds, lizards and small mammals, courtesy of the Wildlife Rangers Wildlife Encounters, who are behind the event.
There’s also the opportunity to meet the Workshops Easter Bilby, receive an Easter treat and get their photo taken, as well as sing-a-longs with the Bush Galah and craft activities.
Need to know: Outback Easter runs in conjunction with the brilliant Toys themed exhibition, puppet shows, craft and activities that are also happening at the Rail Museum throughout the school holidays.
